How do I order products online?
It is easy to order products online at EM. Make a choice from the account status alternatives listed below and you will be able to purchase products in short order.
a. You have a credit account with EM and you have a username and password.
Click on Login located above the product sections. Enter your username and password and click on Login. Confirm your shipping location and click on My Account. You are now registered into the EM website where you can browse and purchase products. It is really that simple!
b. You have a credit account with EM and you would like to order products online.
If you do not have a username and password and would like to be able to order products online, click on Register located to the right above the product sections. Click on Quick Registration and enter your email for EM to create your Web Access.
c. You are a COD customer and you do not have a username and password.
All COD customers can order on-line. Click on Register located to the right, above the product sections. You will be prompted to create an account to continue your order.
How do I search the website for products?
Search for a specific product: If you know the specific name of the product, we encourage you to use our powerful Search tool located on the upper middle area of your screen. Simply type in all or part of the product name or product type and click on Go.
Search for products by market segment: Using the business category buttons that are located below the search bar, you can search for our products that are specific to your business. After clicking on the business category button, you will find a category list along the left side of your screen. Use this list as a guide for finding the types of products you would like to order. A promotion or a selection of our more popular items may appear on the right as you scroll through our products.
How do I check my order status?
You will need a username and password to be able to log in to the EM website to check your order status. Once you have logged in, click on My Account. Click on Order Status/History to view the status of your order(s).
You can also look at your previous orders to review the different products that you have purchased in the past. If you find a product that you want to reorder, select the product(s) and click on Reorder. Your screen will be transferred to the Order screen and the product(s) added to your cart. Once you have completed your order you can checkout.
When can I expect my products to be delivered?
EM provides same day delivery services with our own trucks or local delivery services to most of our Customers and usually next day for deliveries.
Please ask your EM customer service representative about when we can deliver to your area.
What are the hours of operation at EM?
All of our nine warehouse locations are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for you to place an order with a Customer Service Representative over the phone. Online orders can be placed at any time, and will be shipped based on the estimated ship date given at checkout.
Ontario customers can place orders from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.
We also have a COD counter at each of our locations ready to serve you between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
You can place your order on-line on any day and at any time at our nine locations across Canada.
How can I contact someone at EM?
If you have a general question and would like to contact us via phone or email please click on Contact Us located in the top right hand corner of the screen. You will be able to pick the phone number or email address for the warehouse center located nearest to you to contact a Customer Service Representative.
If you have a technical question regarding one of our products you can click on the HELP icon and you can send an email to the warehouse center located closest to you. We will get back to you shortly with an answer to your question.
What if I need to return my order?
Before any material can be returned, you must contact the warehouse center located closest to you and ask to speak to someone in Customer Service. Please click here to get a complete list of warehouse centers and phone numbers. A Customer Service Representative will inform you on how you can return the material that you have purchased from EM. You must have a RAN number (Return Authorization Notice) issued by a Customer Service Representative before you can return material to EM.
It will take 1 – 2 weeks after the material has been received to process a refund for you.
I want to order products from EM on-line but I forgot my password!
Please select the "Forgot my Password " button on the Registration page. Your password will then be emailed to the password we have on your account. If you do not have an email address on file, please call 1-800-268-1252 to have our support team access it for you.
How do I become an EM customer?
It is simple to register to become a customer with EM. Click on Register located to the right above the product sections. Pick the country that your or your business is located in and complete the Customer Credit Application. Print the completed credit application, sign and fax to 1-800-967-2717. We will get back to you as soon as we have completed the credit review, usually within 1 – 2 days. Successful applicants for a credit account will be issued and forwarded via email a username and password that will allow you to purchase products online.
How do I apply for credit with EM Plastic?
If you would like to apply for a credit line with EM click on Register located above the product sections. Pick the country that your or your business is located in and complete the Customer Credit Application. Print the completed credit application, sign and fax to 1-800-967-2717. We will get back to you as soon as we have completed the credit review, usually within 1 – 2 days.
What type of payment options and terms are available on the EM website?
Customers with an established open credit account can order their products online once we have connected your web account to your regular customer account number. Payment terms for credit accounts are 2% 15, net 30 days.
Credit card payments can be made for all online purchases through our provider Beanstream. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. For customer pickup orders, please present your credit card at time of pickup. Payments made with credit cards are not eligible for early pay discounts.
